City
The City of Ústí nad Labem lies in a beautiful picturesque valley of the Elbe River in the north of the Czech Republic. It is just under 90 km from the capital city, Prague, and a mere 65 km from Dresden in Germany. With almost 93,000 inhabitants, it is the eighth largest city in the Czech Republic and it is the administrative centre of the Ústí Region. The town was formerly famous mainly for its industry, but it is now a significant cultural, sports and business centre.
