Chemicals Works

The current administration building of Society for Chemical and Metallurgical Production was constructed between 1929 to 1930 by the Dresden Lossow and Kühne company, which achieved worldwide recognition for their monumental building of the main railway station in Leipzig. The new administration building represents one of the most important structures built in expressionist architecture nationwide. Its perfectly designed interior features numerous Art Deco and Rondocubism items. When the structure was accomplished, it ranked as the tallest structure in Czechoslovakia.
