Investment incentives in the Czech Republic
Investment incentive offered by the Czech government:

  • Tax payment redemption on income tax paid by legal entities for up to a period of 10 years.
  • Grants for the creation of new jobs (up to 6000 USD per 1 job)
  • Tax-free import of machinery and equipment
  • Grants allocated for training and re-qualification courses (up to 35% of the costs)
  • Provision of territory with built-in utilities for a token payment. To be able to apply for all or some of the investment support programmes mentioned above, investors are required to meet both the general and specific criteria related to specific support programmes (incentives) that are effective at the time when the application is filed.
  • CzechInvest, the Czech agency for foreign investment, provides a manual on investment incentives to those interested. CzechInvest also submits applications for investment incentives to the Czech government.

Regional incentives

Investors who do not meet the specified criteria for the allocation of investment grants by the government and who want to invest in the Ústí n. L. region can apply for some of the incentives mentioned below at the local authorities:

  • Grants for the creation of new jobs;
  • Grants for training and re-qualification;
  • The provision of land with built-in utilities;
  • Regional development programmes for the Ústí n. L. region through the Ministry for Regional Development.

Local grants

Investors who do not meet the criteria for the allocation of investment incentives by the government and who want to invest in the city of Ústí nad Labem can apply for some of the incentives mentioned below at the local authorities.

  • Financial contributions for creating new jobs;
  • Financial grants for training and re-qualification courses;
  • The provision of land with built-in utilities;
  • Regional development programmes for the Ústí n. L. region through the Ministry of Regional Development.
  • The Labour Office in Ústí nad Labem provides grants. Investors shall enter into an Agreement on the Conditions for the Provision of Land with Built-in Utilities with the city of Ústí nad Labem. The contact point for those interested is the Department of Economic Development of the City Council of Ústí nad Labem.
